Configuring Netscape Mail
Background
Stanton/Wilmington Computer Services department supports two standards
for sending and receiving electronic mail:
- PINE
- Netscape Mail, version 4, in IMAP mode
This document covers how to configure Netscape Mail for proper operation.
Incorrect configuration of Netscape Mail may cause loss of e-mail. This
is broken down into two parts, the first is mandatory, the second is
optional. Read mandatory as meaning, if you don't configure the program as
documented, the program may not work correctly with our mail system.
