Macintosh Setup Instructions
Macs require the MacTCP control panel in addition to SLIP software (most
often a control panel too). Set MacTCP to "obtain IP address dynamically
from the server."
Versaterm on a Macintosh

Versaterm has included SLIP support for the past few years. It also allows
interactive login and shell before running SLIP. A great time saver.
However, the included telnet program with VersaTerm had serious problems
with SLiRP. On large amounts of screen output, it would hang midway
through the last block of data until you type a key or sent any other
kind of data down the virtual SLIP line. Instead, I decided to use
Del-Tech's modified (for SRS system)
NCSA telnet program. It works great!
