The Systems Lab contains fully operational wet and dry-pipe, pre-action and deluge sprinkler systems. A fire pump with test header, commercial range hood and various heat, smoke, and flame detection devices are also present.
The Burn Lab is a special room in which live fire burns can be conducted regardless of the weather. Instrumentation is capable of measuring water flows and pressures, as well as temperatures. A smoke removal system ensures visibility if requires.
The Outdoor Lab Area contains two separate water systems for testing and analysis, and various standard size metal pans for demonstrations or training.
