Financial Aid

The cost of a college education shouldn't keep you from reaching your goals. At Delaware Technical & Community College we believe that quality higher education should be within the financial reach of every member of our community. If you are eligible, a variety of sources can help you pay for college. Financial aid may be used for tuition, fees, books, transportation, child/dependant care and an allowance for living costs. It can help make your dream of a college degree a reality.

How to apply for financial aid grants

  1. NEW STUDENTS must obtain a Delaware Tech application, complete it, and submit it to the Admissions Office.
  2. Pick up a financial aid application from the Financial Aid Office.
  3. Accurately complete the Financial Aid application. If you need help completing it, or if you have a question, contact the Financial Aid Office. Return the application to the Financial Aid Office at either campus for processing. Do not mail the application.
    Remember: mistakes mean delays!
  4. The Financial Aid Office will send you requests for additional information; please respond to these requests immediately!
  5. Financial aid deadlines:
    Fall semester: July 1
    Spring semester: November 15
