Mechanical Engineering Technology Program Educational Objectives:

Graduates will have the necessary qualifications for employment as an engineering technician or similar job title; assuming technical roles in manufacturing, design, testing and laboratory settings.
Graduates will be prepared with a solid foundation in mathematics, sciences and technical skills needed to continue their professional advancement through life-long learning opportunities, in-service training, and pursuit of advanced degrees.
Graduates will practice effective written and oral communications skills.
Graduates will work effectively on teams using their ability to solve problems related to the workplace through their application of technical capabilities in mechanical engineering technology and related fields.

As a mechanical engineering technician, you'll be an integral part of the engineering team. You'll combine your knowledge of math, science, and technical theories with current design practices to help solve design and development problems. You'll apply state-of-the-art design and testing techniques to a wide variety of products and projects.
